Harry Potter Third-Person Open-World Action RPG? Yes, Please!
Hold on tight to your pointy wizarding hats, because footage from an upcoming open-world Harry Potter RPG has apparently been leaked online and it looks every bit as awesome as your mind can conjure up.
The video isn’t very long (about a minute and thirteen seconds) but it looks pretty damn convincing. While leaks like this should always be taken with a grain of wizarding salt, we’re hoping that this short clip is the real deal.
The video shows off a number of locations, characters, spells, and creatures that should be recognizable to anyone that has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films. There also appears to be a character creator of sorts which means we might be able to finally live out our Hogwarts fantasy.
There is a lot of speculation that this could be developed by Rocksteady (who has been teasing their new project on social media for quite some time) or possibly from Avalanche Studios or Monolith Productions. This makes sense since each of these companies is under the Warner Bros. video game production arm.

“Set in the 19th Century (1800’s) Wizarding World, this 3rd person open-world action RPG game centres around your character with unique abilities who has earned a late acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
You are a newly arrived 5th-year student to Hogwarts that demonstrates a latent gift for magic with a unique ability to track and identify remnants of a pottant ancient power. Upon arrival, strange events begin to materialize In the Forbidden Forrest and trouble begins o brew within the castle walls. Together with Professor Elezar Fig, you embark on a journey through both familiar and never before seen locations to bring to light the truth behind these mysterious occurrences.
On your quest, you will craft potions, master new spells, and discover fantastical beasts. You will battle Dark Wizards, Goblins, and other supernatural enemies and uncover the truth about your destiny – the Fate of the Wizarding World lies in your hands.
