The First Time I’ve Though a Racing Game Would Be Improved With More Narration
Xbox has released an unexpectedly funny trailer for the upcoming Forza Horizon 4, and shows off a ton of shiny new vehicles in their natural habitat.
The trailer features Canadian voice actor and comedian Maurice LaMarche doing his best David Attenborough impression while narrating the daily lives of a handful of expensive cars out in the wild. My favorite part is definitely the cat noises, and I would love it if they made it into the final game as a replacement for car revving sounds. Additionally, we get a short glimpse at the brand new hovercrafts in action. They’re hovercrafts alright, but it remains to be seen how their implementation will affect gameplay.
In other recent Forza news, it was confirmed at Gamescom that Forza Horizon 4 will feature a strong offering of Halo content in which players can drive the iconic Warthog, and director Benjamin Pierce made mention of a ‘Crazy Taxi’ mode joining the game back in June.
Forza Horizon 4 launches exclusively on Xbox One and Windows 10 this coming October 2nd. Let us know what you think of the new trailer in the comments and stay tuned to COGconnected for all the latest gaming news!
