World Domination On the Switch
2K Games has announced that everyone’s favorite history-writing simulator Civilization VI will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year along with a world of fresh content.
Civilization VI will land on Nintendo’s hybrid console this coming November 16th with “the latest game updates and improvements,” along with four additional content packs including Vikings, Poland, Australia, Persia and Macedon. Additionally, this version of the game will feature wireless local multiplayer, allowing up to 4 players work together or against each other.
It looks like the game was set to be announced during yesterday’s delayed Nintendo Direct, as a full site is live and an embedded YouTube trailer is set to ‘offline.’
Civilization VI originally launched back in 2016 for PC and Mac, and came to iOS this past December. Let us know if you’ll be picking it up for the Switch when it drops later this year in the comments, and keep it locked to COGconnected for all the latest gaming news!
