The First Captain Marvel Trailer is Finally Here

Check Out the Captain Marvel Teaser Trailer Right Here

Marvel has finally released the first official trailer for Captain Marvel, the much-anticipated MCU film starring Brie Larsen as Carol Danvers. The trailer debuted on Good Morning America today and can now be viewed online. Check it out for yourself below:

Captain Marvel won’t be a continuation of Avengers: Infinity War. It is set in the 90’s (you couldn’t tell with Carol literally crashlanding on a Blockbuster Video?) and will show us what she’s been up to ever since returning to Earth as well as her connection with a younger Nick Fury (who has two eyes!).

SPOILER ALERT! The character was teased during the end credits of the last Avengers movie with her trademark logo and will supposedly play a big part in the upcoming Avengers 4. We’re just speculating here but we’re thinking that Carol might be the only one capable of taking on Thanos.

The classic Marvel alien villains, The Skrulls, will also make their MCU debut in Captain Marvel. Thanks to a cover feature on Entertainment Weekly earlier this month, we know that Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) will play Talos, the main villain in the movie who will apparently lead the Skrulls.

Captain Marvel hits theatres next year on March 8th, 2019.
