Rumor: Three New Weapons May Be Incoming to Fortnite Very Soon
Though the heavy sniper rifle has recently been released for Fortnite, it’s not the weapon that has everyone talking. With any new update comes a slew of dataminers hoping to find something, and it seems this time around they’ve discovered a few very intriguing weapons that could be incoming, including a flamethrower!
This latest discovery comes from the dataminer that goes by the Twitter handle @FNBRLeaks. So what did they find in addition to the flamethrower? Apparently we should also expect to see a quad launcher, and a new shockwave grenade coming to Fortnite soon. The Quad Launcher, or “Military Rocket” originally comes from the Save The World game mode, which FNBRLeaks claims will also join the Battle Royale world as well. Though this Twitter user has been quite reliable with information and leaks in the past, as this is only a leak, it must be taken with a grain of salt. Until Epic Games has confirmed the three weapons, it should be treated as just a rumor. Fingers crossed that it’s true though, can you even imagine how beasty a flamethrower would be in Fortnite, especially 50v50?
And in other Fortnite news, Epic Games is making giving you a reward for protecting your account with a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) process. If you sign in on a new device, haven’t logged in for over 30 days or have cleared your cookies on your computer, once activated you will have to enter a code in order to log in safely. And if you activate this 2FA, you will receive the Boogiedown Emote for use in the Battle Royale mode.
