Start That Download Now
If you’re looking for a fabulous fighting game for your Nintendo Switch, Dragon Ball FighterZ might be what you’re waiting for. Although my previous experiences with Switch fighting games have left me cold, the solution is obvious: an open beta! Next week you’ll be able to see just how well this terrific 2D fighter works on the Nintendo Switch.
The Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta will run on the Nintendo Switch from August 9th 9pm PDT to August 11th 11:59pm PDT. The open beta is available to pre-download right now, so you don’t have to waste any time with that on the day of. Players will have access to 23 characters, as well as four different game modes.
Arena Match, Ring Match and Ring Party Match will be competitive, while Practice Battle Tutorial is just for warming up. After the beta, players won’t have long to wait for the full release. Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming to the Switch on September 28th, 2018. Having played (and totally loved) the PS4 beta, I am absolutely checking out the Switch version this week. If you’re into 2D fighters whatsoever I highly recommend you do the same thing.
