Sledgehammer Brings New Throwback Moshpit to Call of Duty: WWII With Old-School Perks This Weekend
We’re just a few short days from finding out a whole lot more about the upcoming Call of Duty title: Black Ops 4, on May 17th, but in the meantime Sledgehammer has given you a whole other reason to celebrate. You can jump into Call of Duty: WWII this weekend with a brand new Throwback Moshpit, which brings back some of the most iconic perks from past COD titles for the ultimate classic twist this weekend!
As part of the weekly updates for Call of Duty: WWII, developer Sledgehammer Games has announced that this Weekend Warfare is officially live, bringing back a handful of classic perks from previous titles like Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. “This weekend, make sure to hop on and take advantage of 2XP on the Throwback Moshpit playlist in the Featured tab, live until Monday, May 14. We’re talking old-school Modern Warfare and MW2 perks as Basic Trainings! We saw how much the community enjoyed the traditional Killstreaks with the Blitzkrieg Basic Training, so we decided to bring back some more MW classics.”
You can check out the full list of the classic Modern Warfare perks included in this weekend’s Throwback Moshpit playlist below.

- Bonus: Significantly improved hip-fire accuracy

In addition to these classic perks and double XP in the Moshpit playlist available for a limited time only, Sledgehammer Games has also announced they’re bringing back Ground War, as well as introducing One Shot into the mix. Following a hugely positive response by the COD: WWII community, Sledgehammer is bringing Ground War back this coming Wednesday and it’s “here to stay”. As for One Shot, it’s not yet known if it will be the same game mode featured in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare where players could only use sniper rifles.
