Will We Return to the Modern Warfare Series?
The rumor mill has returned, powered by the slips of social media, and this latest info pertains to a future Call of Duty. After the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, it appears we will receive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
Our whisper of Modern Warfare 4 stems from the Twitter bio of a known voice actor. Craig Fairbrass is a performer who previously did work on the Call of Duty series, roles that include Gaz (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare), Ghost (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2), and Sgt. Wallcroft (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3). But, he stirred a wasp’s nest of wonder when he updated his bio to list “Call of Duty modern warfare 1/2/3/4.” It’s a single number, but, in this day and age, the smallest mistakes can spawn big reveals. As a result of this anomaly, social media is now flickering with speculation.
Quickly, however, the voice actor doubled back and removed the number 4. He endeavored to clarify his Twitter bio in a follow-up statement to fans but didn’t offer much in the ways of an explanation.

Instead, Fairbrass pointed people to his IMDB, which does list a fourth COD installment in the form of Infinite Warfare. Not exactly the same thing as a “Modern Warfare 4,” but the actor does enjoy some plausible deniability now. And, as always, it is a good idea to take this news with a grain of salt.
