Rumor: Nintendo Switch Version of Black Ops 4 Leaked by GameStop

Rumor: Black Ops 4 Nintendo Switch Version Leaked

Back in March Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was officially unveiled and since then rumors have run rampant, including the idea that there would be Nintendo Switch version of the upcoming shooter. Now we’re just three short days until the big reveal and a Twitter user has spotted a GameSpot leak that may just confirm the fourth Black Ops installment is on it’s way to the Switch.

Despite the Nintendo Switch being completely absent from the platforms list when Activision first revealed Black Ops 4 it isn’t completely crazy to think the title could make it’s way to the console. After all, Call of Duty has come to other Nintendo platforms in the past. On top of that, a Twitter user called AUGMC, posted a picture of this very thing: Nintendo Switch versions of Black Ops 4. Apparently AUGMC came across this discovery while browsing their local GameStop store. You can check out the proof below.

While it seems like the release of a Switch version is quite possible, there’s no way to tell if the picture above is just a simple mistake, or if it’s the result of a misinformed GameStop employee. Either way, this rumor should definitely be taken with a grain of salt, because after all as we’ve heard thus far from a variety of outlets, Activision has no intentions to bring Black Ops 4 to the Switch at all.

Hopefully this is something that will be confirmed one way or another on Thursday, May 17th when Activision reveals Black Ops 4. Are you hoping there will be a Nintendo Switch version? Let us know in the comments below and don’t forget to keep it locked for updates!
