NES Classic Coming Back This June

Good Luck And Godspeed

Nintendo’s Classic Editions have been difficult specimens to snag ever since the NES Classic was first released back in 2016. If you missed the miniature Nintendo console the first time around, you’re in luck! The system is coming back on June 29th, giving you one more tiny shot at picking one up!

If the SNES Classic has taught us anything though, it’s that no amount of re-stocks is going to make this an easy task to accomplish. Even if you know the date ahead of time and camp out at your local retailer, the odds are a tiny bit slim. Thankfully, this announcement acts as sort of a warning shot.

The announcement was made on Nintendo’s Twitter account. According to the tweet, we’ll also be getting SNES Classics through to the end of the year. This is technically correct, as the SNES has been in stock multiple times in 2018 already. They just sell out after something like fifteen minutes. Thankfully, the markup on these items has decreased somewhat since their heyday. Now, there’s hardly a 25% markup for one of these bad boys online. That’s a hell of a lot better than the $400 price tags we saw back in the first run of the NES Classic. Sigh.
