The Vibrant Arcade Racing Game Involves Co-Op Play
Trailblazers, a co-op arcade racing game, is going to come out next week on May 8th for the PC and PS4. The Xbox One version is going to come out a day later on May 9th and the Nintendo Switch version is expected to release this June. You can check out a recently released gameplay trailer below!
One interesting feature of Trailblazers is the ability to paint the tracks you’re racing on with paint that can give you speed boosts. You can also paint the tracks of your rival racers in order to cover their speed boost paint.
You can play Trailblazers with up to three players and players are awarded skill points for skillful, stylish driving.
Some more gameplay features: there’s a singleplayer campaign along with multiplayer (which can involve up to six players online, four players for splitscreen mode), racing tracks that take place in a variety of environments (such as deserts & jungles), customizable stats for the game’s roster of vehicles and a “retro-futuristic” soundtrack.
“As huge racing game fans, we feel that the genre often hasn’t been as innovative as we’d like,” said Ben Ward, founder of Trailblazers’ developer, Supergonk. “Our aim with Trailblazers is clear: to create a brand new IP to reinvigorate the genre and build an unexpected new racer that we ourselves want to play.”
