Sledgehammer Teases Brand New War Machine Themed Event for Call of Duty: WWII
Last week the second DLC for Call of Duty: WWII, War Machine, released and while it brought a bunch of new content, there was something missing: a map packs themed event. Well, though you might’ve been disappointed by its absence last week, Sledgehammer’s got some good news. That’s right, it’s time to gear up for a brand new War Machine event!
Almost a full week later and Sledgehammer has finally teased a brand new War Machine themed event. They retweeted a short video from the official Call of Duty Twitter account that shows off Captain Butcher, the Quartermaster who comes out to play only during events, in a brand new outfit. The caption reads, “The enemy is knocking on the door. Tomorrow, a new battle begins #CODWWII.” You can check it out below.

Although we don’t know more than what can be gathered from this post, we’ll just have to wait until it drops tomorrow! If the first Resistance DLC themed event was anything to go by, we can expect some special loot boxes, outfits, and weapons. And if you’re not totally jazzed about this upcoming event, last week Sledgehammer revealed that a new multiplayer map, as well as the Ground War game mode, that will likely be added alongside this new event.
