Xbox Game Pass Permanently Expands With Each New Exclusive
Thus far, Xbox Game Pass has proven itself the deal of the year with its $9.99 subscription fee. The library includes over 100 titles Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles (available via backward compatibility), and that library is expanding to include State of Decay 2.
State of Decay 2 will launch on May 22, 2018 – The same day, it will be made available on Xbox Game Pass. But if you’re not subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you will have the option to purchase the multiplayer co-op survival game for $29.99. Before you make any decisions, however, it’s worth noting that other titles will hit the subscription library during the month of May. Those titles include Laser League, launching on May 10, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2018. The latter will be available from May 1 to August 31.
If you were holding off on subscribing to Game Pass, just so you can play State of Decay 2, then Microsoft has a new deal catered specifically for you. Between April 26 and May 8, new subscribers obtain an entire month of the service for the low, low price of $1. After the first month, if you’re unwilling to pay more for a library of over 100 games, then you can cancel. Worst-case scenario, you play State of Decay 2 for $1.
