Epic Has Warned There May Also Be an Extended Downtime
As per the usual weekly updates, Epic have taken Fortnite down to patch in their newest content for both Battle Royale and Save the World. This new update includes a new limited time game mode, new player skin, and a brand new weapon to the Battle Royale mode, as well as a new mini-boss battle for its Save the World mode.
The update brings in some bug fixes to both PC and mobile, and also adds the Battle Royale’s newest weapon in the form of a guided missile launcher. Alongside this, it’s also bringing back the Sniper Shootout limited time game mode, after the great reception it had last time.
This time, the Sniper Shootout v2 introduces the newly added hunting rifle, as well as the crossbow, but has removed the magnum pistol. Alongside these changes, Epic have also removed the downed state for this game mode, meaning it’s completely over for you if you get killed.

Epic have also put in some seasonal Easter surprises for us to enjoy. The grenade launcher now launches grenades shaped like Easter eggs, and the newest character skin is available to purchase in the store, which lets you play as a not-so-cuddly bunny in a hockey mask.
For those of you you also play the PvE side of Fortnite, there has been a new Easter themed Spring it On! questline added to the Save the World game mode, as well as a load of gameplay changes and bug fixes.
