Immediately After Valentine’s Day, No Less
Splatoon 2 has a rich history of asking players to take sides in some of life’s greatest debates. Previous Splatfests have been between Ketchup and Mayo, or maybe Action versus Comedy. This latest Splatfest has players choosing between Love and Money. Of course, this Splatfest is happening immediately after Valentine’s Day.
The event will take place from February 16th at 9 pm PST to February 17th at 9 pm PST. At the end of this 24-hour stretch, the results of the battle will decide once and for all which of these two options are the best. Do you want a full heart or a full wallet? If you’ve just been dumped, or didn’t have a date for Valentine’s Day, I feel like your choice will be impacted a bit.
With such a big, existential launching point for this latest Splatfest, one would expect the surrounding debate to be equally momentous. Or, at the very least, the copious amounts of fan art we get out of this will be especially interesting. If you own Splatoon 2, have you participated in any Splatfests so far?
