Nintendo Website Is Now Letting You Post Reviews of Nintendo Switch Games

Nintendo.com is Letting You Post Nintendo Switch Reviews

Today, we learned that Nintendo.com has done some updating. Now you can post your review, including a 5-star rating, of the many Nintendo Switch titles available. Good or bad, you can speak your mind until your heart is content but there is a catch.

All individual Switch game pages should show ratings out of five stars, and possibly the specific reviews as well. At the time of writing, we aren’t sure if every page has the functionality currently, but many do. Sorry kids, we aren’t going to check every page but tell us if you notice any are missing.

For instance, if you check out the Zelda: Breath of the Wild page, you’ll see you can post a review. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and you’ll see a section for the user reviews.

But there is a catch, if you’ve purchased the game under your Nintendo Account and have played at least two hours, you should be able to review it. If you haven’t purchased the game, you may be SOL.

As Nintendo Everything indicated the review page lets you rank a game out of five stars, tag it with labels like “Challenging” and “Great sound”. You can also write comments, what type of gamer you’d describe yourself as, and specify if your post contains any spoilers. Your Nintendo Account name and number of hours played will also be shown.

What do you think? Is this a great new feature? Tell us in the comments below.
