Monster Hunter World Dethrones PUBG as Top Xbox Game
Monster Hunter World has launched to some massive success, both in terms of its acclamation and in its popularity. Today, it has officially surpassed the beast who some thought may never been slain: PUBG. That’s right, Monster Hunter World has taken over the as the top Xbox Game!
Just last week we told you that Monster Hunter World was breaking records as the fastest-selling Monster Hunter title yet! Now, after two months as the top Xbox Game, PUBG has been dethroned by none other than Monster Hunter World. And after just 8 days after launch to boot! This is according to the Microsoft Store itself, with the physical version of the title in the top spot, and the digital version in third. PUBG is sandwiched between the two versions of Monster Hunter World.
Madden NFL 18: G.O.A.T. Super Bowl Edition is sitting at number 4, thanks in no small part to the actual Superbowl happening right now! Rounding out the top five, comes DragonBall FighterZ. You can check out these rankings in a snapshot taken directly from the Microsoft Store below.
