So Ready to Raise a Tiny Dragon
Everyone remembers Harvest Moon, right? Well, unbeknownst to most (meaning me), the creator of said series has been hard at work at a bunch of other games. In addition to the Story of Seasons series and Birthdays the Beginning, Aksys Games has just announced Little Dragons Cafe.
This is the story of two siblings who must balance raising a dragon and running a cafe in order to wake their mother from a deep (magical?) sleep. Gameplay will consist of dragon husbandry, cooking, gardening and just generally being helpful to your neighbors. It seems like a lot of the components which made Harvest Moon such a compelling franchise are being applied here. After all, a dragon’s just like a farm animal, right? At least, if it gets big enough, it might eat a few of them.
There’s no release date for this game just yet, but Yasuhiro Wada has been working on Little Dragons Cafe for about two years now. Hopefully we’ll get some more information on this one soon. Maybe at this year’s E3?
