Memories Of The Soundtrack Already Flooding Back
While there were a whole slew of amazing RPGs for the Nintendo DS, few of them are quite as distinct The World Ends With You. Featuring intuitive touchscreen controls, an engaging story and a fantastic soundtrack, it stands out among a sea of excellent titles. Now, it’s coming back for the Nintendo Switch!
This new version will feature updated controls, as well as a new epilogue. For those of you who have never played TWEWY, the story involves guiding an incredibly stylish cast of characters through Shibuya. You collect badges and hot new outfits while fighting off equally cool opponents. The controls took advantage of the touchscreen without getting you bogged down in complex gestures that fell apart during tense boss fights.
There’s no concrete release date yet, though it’s hopefully coming sooner rather than later. After all, we’re talking about a port, rather than a complete new title.
