Monster Hunter World & Street Fighter V Crossover Means an Awesome Costume Exchange

New Costumes from Capcom

Capcom is doing their thing by announcing the Monster Hunter World and Street Fighter V crossover. The announcement was made at Evo Japan 2018.

Whether you’re a fan of Street Fighter or Monster Hunter franchises, you’ll love what’s in store (literally). For starters, two new in-game skins are coming to Monster Hunter World. We have Ryu and Sakura making their way to the New World in the form of one-piece suits that cannot be mixed or matched with any other armor pieces. Simply put, you either play as Ryu or Sakura, and they will be made available via in-game quests; better yet, you can wear either skin regardless of gender. If you happen to own Street Fighter V, you will have early-access to both missions. Remember to check in-game events.

But there are new costumes coming to Street Fighter V as well. As exhibited at Evo Japan, there are three new Monster Hunter World costumes reaching the competitive fighter. They are the Rathalos armor costume for Ken, Ibuki’s Kirin armor costume, and R.Mika’s Zinogre armor. Costumes can be earned through four challenges presented over the course of four weeks, done via Extra Battle Mode.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PS4 and Xbox One. Street Fighter V recently re-launched as the new Arcade Edition. Expect more crossover events as time goes by. We’ll be here with the latest.

Happy gaming.
