Soon You’ll Be Able to Play For Even Longer!
The next big Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update, version 1.3.0, will include a New Game Plus mode. For many of you, I’m sure this is excellent news. After all, how else will you get the opportunity to play this enormous JRPG even longer?
I’m somewhat skeptical that enough people out there have actually beaten this game for New Game Plus to be a much-requested feature, but perhaps I’m just being naive. I loved this game, but I have a full-time job and a rather rigorous sleep schedule to adhere to. The idea of playing this entire game a second time might give me heart palpitations, but who knows? Maybe this is just what you’ve been waiting for.
Unfortunately, we don’t have much in the way of other details just yet. Nintendo is rather famous for keeping things like patch notes close to the vest until the day of their release. Hopefully we get a proper breakdown of what’s coming in the next update, something that’s more than a single sentence about ‘fixes.’ I’m looking at you, every Switch firmware update we’ve ever gotten.
