Heroes in a Half-Shell, Heck Yes
Okay, so this upcoming Fighter Pack DLC will have more than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There’s also Atom and the Enchantress on the way. But more importantly, Turtles. It looks like this last(?) DLC pack for Injustice 2 is going to be a good one.
The other two characters I can understand. They’ve got that DC brand, which I understand is a pretty important prerequisite for appearing in this game series. But why the Turtles? Don’t get me wrong, I am one thousand percent on board with this decision. Especially considering how much the character models resemble their early 90’s film counterparts. That’s a good move all around. Actually, I retract my misgivings, this is just totally rad.
Atom will be available in Early Access first, with the rest of the fighters coming shortly after. Fighter Pack 3 is either available with the Ultimate Edition or as a separate purchase. No word that I can find so far regarding the release date for the Turtles. Atom is hitting Early Access next month though, so it might not be for a little while yet. Injustice 2 is available right now for PS4, Xbox One and (as of this coming Tuesday) the PC.
