Custom NFL Xbox One Controllers Have Been Announced
Are you a fan of Madden NFL? What about football in general? With the season in full swing, Microsoft has revealed that gamers will now be able to feel closer to the field than ever before…with new customizable Xbox One controllers complete with your favorite NFL teams logo!
Microsoft currently has a partnership with the NFL when it comes to accessories for their Surface tablet, however they have extended this to include NFL team logos into the Xbox Design Lab, available now. If you’re wondering if you’re favorite team is available, don’t fret, for all 32 NFL teams are accessible to add to the controller right here.
The NFL logo locations are preset by Microsoft, and there is only one color available to choose from: Robot White. Although this limits the customization options a lot, you can still add rubberized grips, and in addition to adding the team logo, you also have the option to add a black rubberized grip on the back of the controller, as well as an optional laser-engraved message of up to 16 characters. The best part? This engraving, perfect for adding your gamertag or name, doesn’t cost you anything extra. You can check out a few of them below.
Even though the controllers have limited customization available, they still look sleek as hell, and are available for $94.99 USD. Of course, if you want to add rubberized grips to it, this will cost a bit more than $100 USD. If you’ve never purchased a controller from the Xbox Design Lab and you like how snazzy they look, now may be the time to do so.
