Worms Battlegrounds and Bound Headline This Month’s PlayStation Plus Line-Up
Sony has announced the free games that PlayStation Plus subscribers will get for November. And whiles there’s no major AAA release like last month’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, an extra bonus game sort makes up for it.
That additional free game is Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, one of PS VR’s original launch title and the second PS Plus VR game to be offered up. It’s an on-rails roller coaster VR experience where you blast spooky enemies in spooky environments. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, but it does provide some decent thrills and entertainment. It also makes for a great PS VR introduction, as long as someone can handle the jump scares.
As for the actual November line up, Worms Battlegrounds and Bound are the main PS4 games. Worms fans should know what to expect in Worms Battlegrounds. It’s a solid entry in the long-lasting Worms franchise and is a fun time with friends and family. Bound is a gorgeous and colourful indie platformer with some heavy and emotional themes. It has its share of problems but it still deserves a play.
On PS3 R-Type Dimensions and Rag Doll Kong Fu: Fists of Plastic can be snagged. Then on PS Vita, you can grab Dungeon Punks (it’s also cross-buy with PS4) and Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse is giving away Episodes 1 and 2.
And that is it for November’s PS Plus games. It’s a bit lacking in terms of quality games but they can’t all be home runs. Nonetheless, let us know how you feel about the selection of games in the comments below.
