The Unnamed Shin Megami Tensei Switch Game Will Be Shown in a Live Stream on October 23
Atlus has revealed earlier this week that they plan to finally let players know more details about their upcoming Shin Megami Tensei game on Switch. The mysterious game will get an official reveal on an upcoming live stream on October 23, 9:00pm JST.
There have been scant details about the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei game beyond the fact that it will be harnessing the Unreal Engine 4. We still don’t know the name of the game too! But, hopefully, this reveal will give us a glimpse of some gameplay for the latest installment of the hardcore JRPG series. For me, I’ve always been warmer to Atlus’ other mainline JRPG series, Persona, as the relationship-building and characters have made for a more attractive package to me. It’ll be interesting to see how this next-gen Shin Megami Tensei game will play, and if it will steal any of those elements for this new incarnation. You can rewatch the quick teaser video that they released earlier this year too for a refresher:
If you want to watch the reveal live, you can catch the stream here on their website.
