Rogue Trooper Redux Gets New Launch Date for Switch

Let’s All Celebrate with Some Gameplay Footage

Previously, it was decided that Rogue Trooper Redux would be coming out on the Nintendo Switch like, way later than the other versions. Thankfully, the team at TickTock Games finished ahead of schedule. Now we’re getting every version at the same time!

Rogue Trooper was originally adapted from a 2000 AD storyline over a decade ago. You play as Rogue, fighting in a crazy war on Nu-Earth using only your huge muscles and your rad-looking space gun. The war in question is between the Norts and the Southers, though I’m not sure which side Rogue is on. This version of Earth has two suns and a black hole, making it the much cooler version. Not temperature-wise, though. It’s probably hot as death there.

The Redux version of Rogue Trooper is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch on October 17th, 2017. There will be a solid single-player campaign to run through, as well as some co-op missions to complete. Apparently that awesome space gun is also sentient, which opens up a lot of amazing ‘buddy-cop’ style interactions between you and your weapon. Finally, let’s all soak some gameplay footage into our open eyeballs with this latest trailer, embedded below.
