Sorry Mahvel, Injustice 2 Gets a Shrinking Character First
NetherRealm Studios just dropped a new trailer showing off Injustice 2‘s latest character, The Atom. The superhero uses his ability to change his body’s mass to varying degrees to get the jump on his foes. His inclusion in the game will draw interest as his fighting style looks fun as the shrinking superhero zips around his foes.
Injustice 2 revealed the new character during the finale of Chasing the Cup: Injustice 2 on The CW. For the game, this incarnation of The Atom is Ryan Choi, who took up the mantle after his mentor Ray Palmer mysteriously disappeared. We’ll see more of the character soon as he’s part of the game’s upcoming Fighter Pack #3. The trailer below shows off the shrinking superhero in action.
The trailer’s description reads:
Physics prodigy Ryan Choi took on the mantle of the Atom when his mentor — and original Atom —Ray Palmer mysteriously disappeared. Now armed with quantum shrinking technology, Ryan will use the subatomic power of the quantum bio-belt to seek out his lost friend and further the fight for justice.
In other news, Raiden arrives in Injustice 2 today for anyone who has purchased Fighter Pack #2 or the game’s Ultimate or Digital Deluxe editions.
