Red Dead Redemption 2 Looks Gorgeous in New Trailer
Last week Rockstar Games teased that we would be getting some new information about Red Dead Redemption 2 and have we ever! Today, they released a brand new trailer of epic proportions that not only depicts the vast landscapes of the West, but also gives us more details about the story.
Rockstar originally revealed the sequel earlier this year and was met with much excitement and now they’ve announced what the story will be like, at least in part. According to the description for this new trailer, Read Dead Redemption 2 will tell “the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.”
As if anticipation for the Red Dead Redemption sequel couldn’t be any higher, Rockstar never fails to deliver an exciting trailer, and that is definitely what they’ve done today. From wide open landscapes and beautiful snowscapes of the West, to train heists and hunting in the wild, this gameplay trailer has it all. You can check out the trailer below.
When they originally announced Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar had planned for the release this Fall, however later in the year, they pushed the release window back so that they could spend “some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for fans.” While no release date was confirmed today, Spring 2018 still seems likely. Red Dead Redemption 2 is available for pre-order for both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on Rockstar’s official website.
