BlizzCon 2017 Will Still Have Diablo Panels and Diablo 3 In-Game Swag
At BlizzCon 2016, Blizzard dropped some big news for the Diablo 3 community as the Necromancer and the original Diablo were to be patched into the game. It was a grand moment, thus, fans may feel slightly disappointed to learn that BlizzCon 2017 will not feature any significant Diablo news this year.
That said, Blizzard Community Manager, Brandy Camel, assuaged fans that the company is indeed developing something Diablo-related. For BlizzCon 2017, she wrote that the loot action RPG will have a presence on the show floor via panels and swag, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath for major Diablo news. “There will be a time for that at some point in the future, but that time is not now,” Camel said.
“Looking beyond that, we’re hard at work on the future of Diablo and exploring what’s next for the franchise,” she added.
While BlizzCon 2017 will be lacking Diablo announcements, it certainly doesn’t mean Blizzard won’t drop some big news for their other IPs such as StarCraft, Overwatch, and WarCraft.
BlizzCon 2017 will come to Anaheim Convention Center on November 3 – 4.
