Treyarch Has Officially Announced the Zombie Chronicles for Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Zombie Chronicles for Black Ops 3 Has Been Officially Announced

Since the end of last month there have been rumors swirling that new Zombie maps were coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops III and today Treyarch has officially announced that this is true! This fifth DLC for Black Ops 3 will be called the Zombie Chronicles.

The Zombie Chronicles, as the fifth DLC map pack, comes with more than any of the previous ones. Instead of the usual 5 maps, this DLC will include 8 maps that will be remastered from previous Call of Duty games. The zombie maps will be coming from Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Treyarch’s Jason Blundell announced the Zombie Chronicles map pack in a video on his youtube channel JCbackfire. The Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombie Chronicles will be released in less than two weeks, on May 16th, 2017! This DLC will follow suit from the latest titles, and will be available on the PS4 first. This of course means that Xbox and PC players will have to wait another month before they get to play them.

Treyarch also announced that they will be livestreaming the new zombie maps on Monday, May 8th! One thing that is left to be announced is how much the DLC will cost or if they will come as part of the season pass, however if it costs anything, it will likely be the same as previous DLC’s at $14.99 USD.
