Multiplayer Co-op Brawler “Bloody Zombies” Has You Rescue London Fist First
Tired of zombie games leaving you to hopelessly fend for yourself as your character runs away in sheer terror? Wouldn’t you like it if you could turn right back around and punch that zombie in the face? Do we ever have good news for you! nDreams and Paw Print Games has teamed up to give players the kind of multiplayer couch co-op your parents warned you about! Bloody Zombies takes place in modern London, and the cities only hope is for you and three of your cockney friends to take the streets back from the undead with anything you can get your hands on! nDreams has stated the game will be playable as a couch co-op as well as online multiplayer, both of which can be played through the TV or VR headset, and any possible combination of those options. The trailer looks fantastic and is sure to inspire long nights of trash talking, name calling, and poor British accents.
The game features a simple yet freeform combat system, unlockable special moves, and unique melee weapons to be found in your environment. Those playing with the VR headset will be treated with a unique viewpoint that will give the player a tactical advantage, as well as making it easier to spot hidden secrets and conquer environmental obstacles. Antony White, Co-Founder and Director at Paw Prints Games, said: “Bloody Zombies combines irreverent British humor, exaggerated characterisation with an approach to over-the-top urban violence to create a new style of brawler.”
Bloody Zombies is set for release later this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and will be compatible with PSVR, HTC Vibe, and the Oculus Rift. For more information, check out their official website.
