Here’s Some Wizardy and Treasure-Hunting with Your Non-Stop LEGOs
Back to the toy and video game hybrid. Warner Bros. is more than happy to release more of its creative worlds for players to experience in Lego Dimensions. This time, it’s expansion packs for fans of The Goonies, Harry Potter, and LEGO City detective cases. While we’re free to explain everything that’s new, it’s much better if Batman does it. Check out the new video below:
The Goonies Level Pack explores everything there is to see in the Goonies universe. Embark on the same quest as the film, finding One-eyed Willy’s treasure. Build a LEGO ship and explore new areas with puzzles and skeletons; more LEGO shenanigans.
Then there’s the new Harry Potter Fun Pack which includes a Hermione Granger LEGO minifigure. As expected, she can cast Wingardium Leviosa to levitate objects and Lumos to light up dark places. She also allows players to unlock the Harry Potter Battle Arena for a competitive match, along with the Adventure World where they can explore locations in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Moreover, players can build the 3-in-1 rideable Buckbeak and use his Stomp Attack to smash Silver LEGO bricks, then rebuild it into the Giant Owl and the Fierce Falcon for additional abilities
Last but not least, there’s the LEGO City Fun Pack. Continue your detective adventures as Chase McCain. His new abilities include mining to break Silver LEGO bricks or shooting Water Beams as a fireman. By using the Detective Scanner, you can also track down bad guys and change disguise to unlock more abilities. On top of that, players can compete with up to three friends in the LEGO City Battle Arena. A bigger experience awaits with every expansion.
Find Lego City Dimensions for PS4 PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, and find LEGOs at virtually any place that sells toys and games. Because they are everywhere.
