God of War 4 Director Tweets a Few Words to Fans
We have received very little news since the God of War 4 reveal at last year’s E3. At the very least, it was a very awesome reveal. But, we’re still awaiting more info, fans being super curious and all. Judging by the recent words of the game’s director, we may hear more soon.
God of War 4 Director Cory Barlog gave an update on twitter with a mix of passion and fatigue. Despite the difficulty of their work, it’s coming along well. It is always a good sign when the work is hard but still going.

As we saw in the reveal, God of War 4 has completely updated the franchise’s visuals and developed new combat mechanics. Since this is a complete rework, it’s understandable that Barlog and team are faced with a “grind.”
While we still don’t have a release date for the highly-anticipated sequel, it seems likely that Barlog already knows the release date. In another reply to fans on Twitter, he almost explicitly gives away that he knows the date.

Furthermore, Barlog mentioned that the developer is dedicating time to the story elements. The team is working to make the narrative better than the previous games. We’ll just have to wait for the game to release before we can make that judgment.
Expect another God of War 4 showcase at this year’s E3. Since we witnessed an entire demo last time, we suspect different gameplay elements will be shown this time around. Until then and beyond, be sure to check for updates on COGconnected.
