Blizzard’s Teasing Is Nearly on Par with Their Game-Making Prowess
Whether it’s in-game or social media, Blizzard has a knack for teasing proponents of its now-popular title. We’ve seen it with every character and event reveal so far. And, apparently, Overwatch is getting yet reveal next week. As for the type of reveal, Blizzard is being very coy yet Twitter savvy.

An archived video file mentions the “King’s Row Uprising.” As many fans know, King’s Row is one of many Overwatch maps. Moreover, it is the location of lore-significant events; for example, it is the spot where playable character Widowmaker assassinated the Ominic spiritual leader. But that’s delving into nerd territory. You can witness that for yourself in Overwatch’s cinematic trailer.
Thus far, we simply know that the upcoming reveal deals with King’s Row, the Omnics, and shall be shown on April 11th. The likelihood of a character reveal is quite low since Blizzard just revealed and installed Tank Orisa into the game. Whatever comes next may be comic-related or promotional in some fashion. There are too many possibilities to account for, but this just follows Blizzard’s customary disposition towards hype.
