Visit the New World of Dragon Quest as Designed for this Generation
For anyone who wants to try their hand at the anticipated PS4 exclusive, Square Enix announced that the Dragon Quest Heroes 2 demo is available now on the PlayStation Store. Now’s the time to test the vast world and its dynamic array of dynamic characters.
The new demo for Dragon Quest Heroes 2 grants player access to four of the 15 playable heroes. That includes series newcomers Lazarel and Teresa, along with returning favorites Carver (Dragon Quest VI) and Maribel (Dragon Quest VII). Choose your character and engage in fitting fast-paced action. An expansive environment, multitudes of enemies, and a colossal boss await. Get a feel for the action and aesthetic and then decide if the game is right for you.
Veterans may rejoice in this return of Dragon Quest and its many heroes. Additionally, there’s never been a better time to become a fan. After a demo playthrough, it may be worth taking a look at the Dragon Quest Heroes 2 Explorer’s Edition. As it sits, the game offers plenty of customization for combat, weapons, jobs, and more, but players get even more for pre-ordering – 15 weapon items inspired by in-game bosses. Additionally, anyone who pre-orders through the PlayStation Store will receive exclusive items including a PlayStation 4 theme, a Dragon Quest 1 Hero Costume, and a special “Healix the Hero” recipe for Dragon Quest Builders.
Dragon Quest Heroes 2 arrives on April 25th for the PlayStation 4. A world of adventure awaits and, unlike previous titles, the game offers multiplayer functionality with up to four player co-op. Bask in the new environment and engage the myriads of enemies alongside a buddy or two, or three. After a thousand years of peace, heroes must one again rise up and quell the evils now plaguing the kingdom. Pick a character and get to hacking and slashing, or test a ton of other in-game activities.
