The Microsoft Store Now Has a Project Scorpio Page
Project Scorpio, the newest console from Xbox, is promising to be the most powerful system ever made, and now it has an official page in the Microsoft Store. Sure, there is no option for pre-orders at this point, however this is just slowly increasing the hype before the Scorpio presentations coming in a few months!
As this new Xbox console is set to come out during the holidays this year, it’s crazy to think that gamers worldwide could get their hands on a brand new Xbox console! While no price is available, the Microsoft Store product page lists these three bullet points:
- The most powerful console ever with 6 teraflops of graphical processing power
- The first and only console to enable true 4K gaming and high-fidelity virtual reality
- Compatible with all Xbox One games and accessories
While this may not provide us with any new information from what has already been revealed, the page does have an option to sign up for an email notification when the console becomes available! This is just a small step for Microsoft as they are slowly revealing more and more details about Project Scorpio. As announced last week, Microsoft is expected to do a full Scorpio reveal in just over two months from now during their E3 presentation!
The expectations for Scorpio are through the roof, as Aaron Greenberg, Xbox head of marketing, has stated that its release will be the end of what we’ve all come to expect of the newest console generation. He has said, “We think the future is without console generations.” He has also stated, “We’re basically saying, ‘This isn’t a new generation; everything you have continues forward and it works.’ We think of this as a family of devices.”
