Guerrilla Games Sees Its Biggest Success and We Shall Witness More Aloy
We have witnessed the strong beginning of a new year for gaming with Horizon Zero Dawn. The game has sold 2.7 million copies, marking the greatest production by Guerrilla Games on the PS4. Hereafter, we can look forward to the momentum built by launch.
Jumping off their success, the Amsterdam-based developer is already working on Horizon’s expansion. Thus, anyone hankering to see more of the rich post-post-apocalyptic world and Aloy can do so at an undisclosed date. Prior to release, Guerrilla Games was practically serenaded by critical reviews, to be supplemented by user praise post-launch.

Moreover, the company received much praise from industry peers. As it is not easy developing and succeeding at a new IP, many were enthused by such acclaim and the incredible experience. Even big names like CD Projekt RED, Xbox, and BioWare had positive words to share. Some even greater praise came from Chairman of SIE Worldwide Studios Shawn Layden:
