PlayStation Plus List of Free Games Revealed for April 2017

Could Drawn to Death be the Next Rocket League for PlayStation Plus?

Earlier in the month, we learned that David Jaffe’s own Drawn to Death was coming free to PS Plus. But, alongside the artistic third-person shooter of colorful mayhem, we are getting a few more names. Here is the Aprile Lineup of free PlayStation Plus games.

What might be one of the most episodic games in history, Ten Second Ninja X is coming to PS4 and PS Vita. Taking after its name, the game relies on ten seconds of consolidation across levels jam-packed with obstacles and miniature gauntlets. There may never be a better game to play at a moment’s notice. Following is Curses n’ Chaos, a classic-style RPG utilizing the fun cues of arcade gaming; it really captures that 80s/90s feel. Both games are free for PS4 and PS Vita during the month of April.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is another arcade-style game that was free on Xbox One some time back. It must have received some decent exposure if PlayStation chose to add it to their collection. Players can play alone or co-op in a 2D space odyssey that witnesses many aliens and hostile beings attempting to break into your home–which is also a floating castle of a space ship.

Last but not least is Drawn to Death, the highly-anticipated shooter from the mind that brought us God of War and Twisted Metal. No doubt, PlayStation couldn’t wait to bring this game to the PS4 and Players cannot wait to test the unique carnage for themselves. In brief, the game pits players against one another in topsy-turvy maps bearing pencil-drawn aesthetics – they literally appear to have popped out of someone’s art book. Moreover, a fun cast of characters adds a layer of narrative and fun jeering action.

Additionally, PS3 owners see the addition of Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom and Alien Rage. More free titles to whoever carries both consoles and/or a PS Vita. Anyone who hasn’t take advantage of the month of March can still claim the following:

  • Disc Jam (PS4)
  • Tearaway Unfolded (PS4)
  • Lumo (PS4, PS Vita)
  • Earth Defense Force 2025 (PS3)
  • Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late (PS3)
  • Severed (PS Vita)

Feel free to drop a comment down below letting us know your thoughts on April’s lineup. PlayStation Plus consistently delivers a list with at least one major title and a few others that can be considered niche. So it is always worth noting what our readers think. Happy gaming.
