Today, we are thrilled to divulge further details regarding PS5 cloud streaming, a new perk for PlayStation Plus Premium members. Commencing this month, we are initiating cloud streaming access for supported digital titles available in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Game Trials, alongside PS5 game library titles owned by PlayStation Plus Premium members.
A selection of PS5 games will be streamable, and there are ambitious plans to include hundreds of titles in this exciting offering. The lineup features top console hits such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Mortal Kombat 11, and Saints Row IV. Game Trials for PS5 titles, like Hogwarts Legacy, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and The Calisto Protocol, will also be available. Furthermore, PlayStation Plus Premium members can stream owned digital titles like Resident Evil 4, Dead Island 2, Genshin Impact, Fall Guys, and Fortnite.
This is just a glimpse of the supported PS5 games that will offer cloud streaming, in addition to the traditional download option. PS5 cloud streaming will be an exclusive feature at the PS5 console’s launch. It enables players to access PS5 games without downloads, as part of their PlayStation Plus Premium membership.
