‘Global Testfire’ for Splatoon 2 Starting on March 24th
Nintendo announced early this morning that a limited demo will be happening for Splatoon 2 at the end of March.
The demo periods will be an hour long, giving players in various time zones the chance to check out the colorful shooter. The exact times are listed below:
March 24 (Friday):
- 8-8:59pm PT
- 12-12:59pm PT
March 25 (Saturday):
- 4-4:59am PT
- 12-12:59pm PT
- 8-8:59pm PT
March 26 (Sunday):
- 4-4:59am PT
Although they’re listed in Pacific Central, the times are set to let the highest number of people get into the demo. If this is anything like other Nintendo events, server space will be limited. Those people interested in participating will likely have to act fast.
Players will have a chance to test out various weapons, such as “the new Splat Dualies, as well as remixed versions of the iconic Splat Roller and Splat Charger.” The demo will be an excellent chance to show off the Switch’s capacities as a multiplayer machine. For a lot of people, Nintendo systems are purely social systems. The success of the Wii was built on user-friendly multiplayer. Splatoon isn’t a brand new experience, but it may find an even stronger foothold on the Switch.
Splatoon 2 is set to release this summer for the Nintendo Switch.
