Along with Tekken 6, you get Midway Arcade Origins and Mutant Storm Empire
An ever-expanding roster of games, Xbox was happy to add these latest titles to Backwards Compatibility. Let’s face it, this growing list is keeping Xbox One quite competitive. This time around, Tekken 6 is the Triple A title. And on the same day Tekken 7’s released date was announced; not a coincidence.
This just expands the venerable arsenal of titles philanthropically delivered via Xbox One hardware. Last month we got some of last generation’s better games with Battlefield 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. These are not only great games, but some of EA’s best ever. So there’s no telling what other fantastic names will be added to the mix.
Furthermore, these latest titles make a total of 322 games available for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. You can read up more about Backwards Compatibility at Major Nelson’s Blog, along with the full list of last-gen games. Just try not to bother him with questions of Black Ops 2. Meanwhile, we’ll keep you updated on all the latest in gaming here at COGconnected.
Many fans have anticipated the Tekken 6 successor for some time now. Fortunately, we now know Tekken 7 will be available on June 2nd of this year. Expect updates as they come.
