New PS4 Video Seems to Really Stick It to Xbox
A couple of days ago, we told you how in Japan, there was a lot of love being given to Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Nintendo’s 3DS over the Christmas holiday. In fact there was so much love that the PS4 had it’s strongest Christmas week to date. While the 3DS did not set a new Christmas sales record, the sales topped those of last year as well. It was a very Merry Christmas indeed for Japan. Today Sony Interactive Entertainment released a new trailer for its PS4 family of consoles, and included a ton of games that will be launched as exclusive or console exclusive in 2017. No question, it is going to be an amazing year for Sony, again.
In the trailer, which you can see below, we get to see games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Detroit: Become Human, Gravity Rush 2, Gran Turismo Sport, NieR: Automata, Farpoint, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, New Everybody’s Golf, Dreams, Pyre, NiOh, Persona 5 and many more. Impressive list, right?
Interestingly enough, this appears to confirm Detroit: Become Human will be a 2017 title, and incidentally, the “PS4 exclusive” and “PS4 console exclusive” stamps appear to be misplaced on a few games. The trailer ends with defining PS4 “The best place to play the biggest games.”
Is there a game in the trailer you are looking forward to? Tell us in the comments below.
