All Persona 5 Confidants have a Quirk, but also a Benefit
Sit down for briefing, Phantom Thief. We’re doing this Suicide Squad style: a bunch of exposition before showing you anything worthwhile about the character. Just kidding! Venturing closer to its release, Atlus has released footage for four additional Persona 5 Confidants, dynamic characters to accompany you in your nocturnal escapades. Watch down below:
Shinya Oda is a boy wonder who will help you and your organization build and develop nifty gun skills. At some point in the game, you’ll need reliable fingers behind each trigger. Moving on:
As a journalist, Ichiko Ohya constantly pursues leads, obviously. But in-game, her role as a confidant is keeping security levels low for Palace Heists. And for those who don’t know, Palace Heists represent the dungeon-crawling aspect of the game with amazing rewards. You can watch the gameplay trailer here. Next on the list:
Chihaya Mifune is a fortune teller because fortune tellers are a thing nowadays. Her ability to read your fortune adds buffs to your character and helps you bond with specific Confidants. Then last but not Least:
Yuuki Mishima is the overly-curious social media savant that inevitably joins your crew. By building a “phan-base” around the Phantom Thieves, he acts as a conduit between them and the rest of the online world. Utilizing his abilities, you get extra exp from battles that also apply to your Confidants.
Persona 5 releases on April 4 in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PC. PS4 players may purchase the limited Steel Book Edition and “Take Your Heart Premium Edition“ at $59.99 and $79.99 respectively.
As Japan’s #1 game of 2016, according to developers, Persona 5 is finally making its western debut. We expect more news about Atlus’s latest RPG. From now until release, you can find it with COGconnected. Happy gaming.
