Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s Second DLC Launches Next Month
The second story DLC pack for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launches next month! Publisher Square Enix and developer Eidos Montreal announced that the DLC, titled a Criminal Past, will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 23rd.
This DLC is set to be a prequel to the events of the main story, telling the story of Adam Jensen’s first mission with TF29. Aptly named a Criminal Past, the DLC will send Adam Jensen into a high-security prison. The blog post on the official website offered the following description was given for the DLC, “Jensen is transferred deep into a hostile, high-security prison for augmented felons. His mission: track down and retrieve sensitive information from a fellow undercover agent who has gone dark. Success will help the fight against terror around the world, but Jensen will need to confront a darker side to his role before the day is done.” It will be definitely be interesting to see this other side of Adam Jensen!
The new DLC is set to provide players with more insight into the Deus Ex universe and will feature some existing characters, including TF29’s suspicious psychiatrist, Delara Auzenne, as well as some new characters. The price for the DLC has not been revealed, however it should be similar in price to the last DLC, System Rift, which was $10 USD. The DLC can be purchased by itself, or as part of the season pass for $30 USD.Â
