What Other Amiibo Await from The Legend of Zelda? And What Will They Do?
Nintendo just announced the new amiibo to their character lineup. introducing Zelda and Bokoblin as seen in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. These two make five out of the existing list of three: Link Rider, Link Archer, and Spidery Guardian. However, we don’t yet know their in-game add-ons.
As is traditional of Zelda Amiibo’s, they deliver in-game assets. For example, Ocarina of Time Link makes makes meat rain down upon ye. Hopefully these next figures deliver varies goodies to open-world Breath of the Wild.
But now that Nintendo is in their amiibo delivery mode, we may guess that many, many more Switch titles will get the treatment. Games like the next Fire Emblem, or perhaps even Shin Megami Tensei may receive future figures. It’s hard to imagine the game publisher neglecting any titles. And most likely, we’ll see Arms and Splatoon 2 around release time for each game.
An exact release date for new amiibo has yet to be announced. At the very least, we know they’re coming in March. Additionally, we have yet to know the price, so the frugal gamer can hold off on reserving them for the time being. But if you’re a Zelda fanatic, go wild. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is set for release day one of Nintendo Switch, which is March 3rd.
