Steam’s Winter Sale Gets Dated
There is no denying Steam’s Winter Sale is always outstanding. The deals they offer represent fantastic value for consumers. Last year, every game was anywhere from 10-50% off and we have every reason to believe this year will be just as good, if not better. Today, we learned that the Steam Winter Sale will kick off on December 22 will last until January 2nd, 2017.
The date of the sale was slipped on NEOGAF earlier today and Eurogamer has now confirmed that the date is legit. Eurogamer reported:
“The Steam Winter Sale, or Christmas sale, or Holiday sale, or whatever you call it, will begin 22nd December, Eurogamer can confirm, and last until 2nd January. The date slipped onto NeoGAF and we have separately confirmed it. Feels like only yesterday Steam’s Halloween sale was in effect. Or was it Black Friday. I lose track. Nevertheless the Winter Sale is usually considerable, so perhaps save money by foregoing Christmas presents for your children, you monster.”
Valve’s Winter Sale is usually quite extensive, and as we mentioned the deals are awesome. There is no question we cannot wait to see what the sale has to offer. Valve will probably officially announce the Steam Winter Sale within the coming days. The exact details of the sale aren’t known for the moment, but we’ll update when we learn more.
