Patch Updates for inFAMOUS: Second Son and inFAMOUS: First Light are Focused on Graphics Bug Fixes
Sucker Punch has pushed patches for both inFAMOUS: Second Son and inFAMOUS: First Light, focusing on graphics bug fixes that the HDR update caused and allowing players to now be able to freely customize their visual options. If you take a look at the options menu for the titles, you can see that menu options such as “Contrast” settings can now be adjusted.
Recently, HDR was added to the two PlayStation 4/PlayStation 4 Pro exclusive titles, but this feature made the darks too hard to see on darker televisions. Hopefully, now that we can adjust multiple visual settings, the crazy color issues will be resolved and players with darker screens can see once again!
Second Son launched exclusively for PS4 in March and is currently on version 1.07, and the standalone expansion, First Light, released shortly after in August of 2016 and is on version 1.04.
