Crash Bandicoot Remastered Trilogy Announced at PSX
Earlier this year the Crash Bandicoot Remastered Trilogy was at E3 and more information was just released at the PlayStation Experience! The remastered version drops next year on the PS4, and will include Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot Warped!
Revealed today at PSX in Anaheim, the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy brings the iconic late 90’s trilogy to the PS4 and will let players jump, wump and spin their way through the epic adventures of the original games. The Crash Bandicoot “N’Sane” Trilogy, developed by Vicarious Visions, will have brand-new lighting, animations, environments and recreated cinematics, all in 4K quality. Activision has partnered with Vicarious Visions to  honor the Crash Bandicoot series. The remastered edition will include a fully-remastered game soundtrack, newly recorded dialogue from a few of the original voice actors, including Jess Harnell and Lex Lang. The trilogy will feature full analog stick support, a save system and a unified checkpoint system, making it easier than ever for new fans and old fans alike to enjoy the classic adventures. Additionally, there will be improved time trials and bonus levels available in all three of the games.
Although no more information on the release date has been revealed, this “N’Sane” trilogy will launch in 2017, and is available today for pre-order on the PS4 and PS4 Pro for $39.99.
