Titan-Sized Gameplay On The Go With Titanfall: Frontline
Respawn announced that they are working on a mobile Titanfall title in collbaration with Nexon and Particle City, known as Titanfall: Frontline. The title is aimed to be the first stand-alone offering in the popular Titanfall franchise, and will take on a form most people weren’t expecting, in this case: a mobile card-battling strategy game. Feel free to double-take now, but it sounds like a pretty intriguing concept. We are all about creativity at COGconnected, and taking such a 180 in terms of genre is a move that’s sure to raise some eyebrows, but this title sounds like one to keep an eye on, without a doubt.
This is the first title in a series of what is bound to be many between these three companies, and fans aren’t just going to be treated to some intense shooting in Titanfall 2, they will also be able to partake in the high-stakes card-battling in Titanfall: Frontline, in which they will make use of various Pilots, Titans and Burn cards in order to best other human players in 1v1 combat. Particle City has worked very closely with Respawn in order to deliver this title to you, so you can be sure that Titanfall: Frontline will feel like it belongs in the Titanfall franchise.
Titanfall: Frontline will release on both the App Store and Google Play Store in the coming fall, and you can go ahead and give the upcoming title some love on Facebook and Twitter, as they’ll be posting all the latest details on this upcoming title. If you’re interested, you can also pre-register for the title at the official website, and doing so will provide you with some extra in-game rewards so that you can get a leg up on the other Pilots. Titanfall 2 is still a ways off, but Titanfall: Frontline should prove to be a nice way to sate your thirst for one of the biggest games of the upcoming year.
