No Man’s Sky Receives Big Patch For PS4, But No Patch Notes

No Man’s Sky Receives Further Refinement

Hello Games has been quiet since the release of their title No Man’s Sky in August, but they have been hard at work at providing further refinements to the title despite the lukewarm reception. The latest version, pushing No Man’s Sky up to 1.09, is a bit of a doozy clocking in at 733MB. Despite this huge update, there aren’t any patch notes detailing just what this update contains. That won’t stop some users, however, as they have been picking apart the patch quicker than some of you have been tearing through the vast number of planets in No Man’s Sky.

No Man's Sky Ship

There’s currently what you could call a “Mega-thread” going on over at the No Man’s Sky subreddit, where users have been picking apart and comparing what changes they can glean from their time with the game. One of the major instances in this case was the removal of a notorious exploit that allowed people to stack items multiple times over is no longer possible. There are also noted reports of the load-speeds of saves having been sped up, as well as a slight improvement in both graphics and sounds.

Despite the flak that game seems to have been drawing, you have to admire Hello Game’s dedication to trying to deliver on their promises with No Man’s Sky, and if these patches are any indication, they are working very hard on getting the game up to the standard they have been hoping for. If you want to keep tabs on what all the users on the subreddit have found, you can mosey on over to the link above.
